Premier League awards
This past week has seen a host of accolades handed out, as the dust settles on the back of another English top-flight season.
The majority of the prizes, unsurprisingly, have gone to Liverpool and Manchester City stars.
Liverpool, of course, dominated the league this past term, garnering a staggering 99 points.
This, in turn, saw Jurgen Klopp clinch the Premier League Manager of the Season award, whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold was named the Premier League’s Young Player of the Season.

De Bruyne crowned Premier League POTS
However, a non-Liverpool star has today bagged the most highly sought after individual Premier League award.
The player in question is Kevin De Bruyne, who, arguably, enjoyed his best season in a Manchester City shirt in 2019/20
De Bruyne racked up a hefty 13 goals and 20 assists in 35 league appearances this past season.
His assist haul saw the midfield maestro match Thierry Henry’s single season record, as well as securing De Bruyne the 2019/20 Playmaker award.
And now, on Sunday, KDB has clinched the final, and above all most prestigious solo award that the Premier League has to offer – Player of the Season.
De Bruyne saw off Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Danny Ings, Sadio Mane, Nick Pope and Jamie Vardy to take home the prize:
