Liverpool vs Burnley
Thursday’s only Premier League tie is set to play out shortly.
Said clash will see Liverpool welcome Burnley to Anfield as they look to get their season back on track.
Following their draw with Manchester United last week, the Reds slipped down to 4th in the table.
And after Manchester United, Manchester City and Leicester picked up victories earlier this week, Liverpool have slipped even further off the pace of top spot.
As a result, a win over a struggling Burnley at Anfield is imperative.

Why Henderson missed Liverpool vs Burnley
Ahead of the tie, as is customary, both sides would release their starting line-ups an hour before kick-off.
There was some positive news from a Liverpool perspective as both Joe Matip and Konstantinos Tsimikas returned to the matchday squad after their recent injury issues.
However, Jordan Henderson omitted from both the starting line-up and bench:

An explanation for the skipper’s absence has since been provided, courtesy of The Athletic’s James Pearce, who confirmed that Henderson has a minor muscle strain:
The good news is that Matip returns.
The bad news is that Henderson ruled out with a minor muscle strain.
Big call from Klopp dropping both Salah and Firmino to the bench. Starts for Oxlade and Origi. #LFC
