Premier League champions Liverpool have, on Monday, been handed a boost on the personnel front.

Arsenal vs Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp’s men are set to return to action this weekend, in the club’s first outing on the back of the international break.

The Reds will make the trip to the Emirates on Saturday evening, for a highly anticipated Premier League meeting with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

Liverpool head into the clash with hopes of carrying forth a much needed upturn in form prior to the club’s stars jetting off around the world over the last couple of weeks.

Amid a tumultuous campaign to date, the Merseysiders managed to string together a pair of victories, first over RB Leipzig in the Champions League, and then against Wolves last time out.

As such, spirits will no doubt be high in Klopp’s camp, as Liverpool gear up for a crucial run-in to the campaign over the weeks ahead.

Bobby boost

And, as outlined above, on Monday, the Reds’ prospects have been boosted.

This comes on the back of a timely return on the personnel front.

Roberto Firmino played no part in any of Liverpool’s last three outings prior to the break, after picking up what was simply described by the club as ‘a knock’.

This evening, though, a series of photos have surfaced across social media, showcasing the Brazilian back in first-team training:

Further updates, meanwhile, have since also come to the fore, confirming that Firmino indeed looks set to be in contention to return to the pitch at the Emirates this weekend:
