Reports stemming from England on Monday have credited Manchester United with an interest in Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima.
Who is Abdallah Sima?
Sima would join Slavia Prague’s youth team in August of 2020 and was quickly promoted to their senior side in October.
Yet despite his tender years, the 19-year-old has already gone on to establish himself as an integral member of the Czech outfit’s attack.
In 18 league ties this term, the right-winger has managed to net 11 and provide five assists.
Sima, though, has also been showcasing his quality on the European stage. In 11 Europa League meetings this season, the youngster has scored four and assisted one, including one goal vs Leicester as Slavia knocked the Foxes out in the quarter-finals.

Man United linked with Abdallah Sima
Now, after a solid breakout season in the Czech Republic, Sima appears to be attracting interest from a top side.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are monitoring Sima, whose current contract runs until 2024.
The MEN add that United’s interest in Sima is part of a new recruitment strategy that sees the Red Devils targeting the highest-rated teenagers around the world.
Said strategy has already seen Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri signed in the previous summer transfer window.
But, as Sima is naturally a right-winger – despite also being capable of playing up top – should Man United really be targeting him?
United do need to find a natural right-winger who can play first-team football consistently, but with Diallo and Pellistri also 19 and natural in that spot, perhaps United should focus their attentions elsewhere.
