Leeds United vs Tottenham

Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off will see Leeds United play host to Tottenham.

The tie is of little importance to the hosts, who sit 11th in the English top-flight with pretty much nothing left to play for.

Spurs, meanwhile, have a huge end to the campaign as they continue their fight for European football.

The Lilywhites are currently sat 6th in the PL, five points off a Champions League place.

And whilst a top-four finish does seem unlikely, Tottenham need to ensure they are able to keep hold of a top-six spot.

However, Liverpool, who are 7th, are only two points behind Spurs with a game in hand on the north Londoners, meaning they cannot afford to drop any points in their final four games.

Ryan Mason on taking Tottenham job permanently

Ryan Mason would hold his pre-Leeds press conference on Friday.

When doing so, Mason discussed a number of topics, including the possibility of taking the Tottenham job on a permanent basis.

Mason, though, moved to temper talks of a permanent role, stating:

“That’s all hypothetical and if we win or don’t. I’m just thinking about the next game. I’m not silly enough to start thinking ahead to certain situations and that’s all I have to say on the matter.”

Mason also discussed his relationship with Daniel Levy, who he labelled a good man:

“I’ve always had a good relationship with the chairman. He’s given me an opportunity to lead this football club. He’s a good man and he cares about this football club.”

Mason asked whether he wants the Spurs job permanently. https://t.co/MlfiAfHuh8
