Who is Kamaldeen Sulemana?

Kamaldeen Sulemana made the move to current club FC Nordsjaelland in February of 2020.

The 19-year-old joined the Danish outfit on a free transfer, after departing his home country of Ghana.

And, despite his limited experience, Sulemana has already cemented himself as a regular contributor for Nordsjaelland.

All told, the youngster has managed to notch 14 goals and eight assists in 42 outings across all competitions for the Scandinavian outfit.

Sulemana is a left-winger by trade, and this is where he has played most of his games for Nordsjaelland.

However, the gifted starlet is quite versatile, and can also line out on the right and as a centre-forward.

Man United & Liverpool showing interest in Kamaldeen Sulemana

After a solid 2020/21 campaign both Ajax and Manchester United were linked with Sulemana.

And now, manager of FC Nordsjaelland, Flemming Pedersen, has confirmed that some top clubs are indeed showing an interest in Sulemana.

When speaking about Sulemana recently, Pedersen claimed that Man United, Liverpool and other clubs are in the race for the winger:

“Ajax is perhaps the safe choice where he will definitely get plenty of playing time.

‘[Manchester] United, Liverpool and others are in the race. Well, I also know Kamal so well that when he is pressured, he automatically takes the next step as well.

“And with the personality and mentality he has, there I will never ever say it will be too big a leap, for he is extraordinary.’

“I cannot stand here to say that I expect him to be here next season because there is so much talk about him.”
