Sule’s Bayern Munich stint
Niklas Sule joined Bayern Munich from Hoffenheim in 2017, for a fee of around £18m.
And the stopper has since gone on to establish himself as an integral member of the Bundesliga outfit’s backline.
The 25-year-old has notched 133 appearances across all competitions for Bayern.
Sule did miss a good chunk of 2019/20 through injury, but he has since returned to the heart of Bayern’s defence, though he did also pick up a knock at the back end of 2020/21 which saw him miss some games.
Chelsea & Sule
But despite a couple of injury issues, Sule appears to be attracting interest from elsewhere in Europe, with it claimed earlier this year that the 30-time capped international was on the shortlist of Premier League giants Chelsea:

A further report at the back end of May then named defense as an area Chelsea are targeting in the upcoming summer transfer window:
A midfielder and at least one new defender are also on the German’s wish-list which includes a right-sided player who can offer Chelsea’s squad some greater balance.

And now, it appears that the Blues have been handed a boost in their reported pursuit of Sule.
As per Goal, citing German outlet Sport Bild, Bayern are willing to listen to offers for Sule, who is close to having just one year left on his current contract.
No potential fee is mentioned, but given the length of Sule’s contract, it is hard to see Bayern being able to demand a huge sum.
